Artist's Description

When cardinals appear. I have been fascinated lately in the concept of birds and feathers are messengers from the other world, trying to paint what feels divine about this connection through nature. This painting was done using acrylic paints, posca paint pens and Stabilo water soluble crayons.

About Diane Wallace

Diane Wallace

With a love of life, animals, and all things natural, this self-taught artist expresses life in paintings that seem to fall off her brush. When she started painting n watercolors, she used a limited palette, but the addition of acrylics to her wheelhouse has allowed her to cajole, charm and explode her palette, whether working in watercolor or acrylic. Her paintings reside in private and public collections, and have been juried into national and local shows where she has received prizes. Honestly believing "art" is a verb, her mission in life is to encourage the creativity in everyone and to pass on kindness in her "Kindness Matters" program.
