This painting exemplifies the mem “If cats could text you back, they wouldn’t”. Caught in mid retreat, she’s deciding whether to come back or not. Using acrylic paints, woody water-soluble crayons, Stabilo water-soluble pencils and a bit of gorgeous lace on canvas, she’s certainly an intriguing girl.
With a love of life, animals, and all things natural, this self-taught artist expresses life in paintings that seem to fall off her brush. When she started painting n watercolors, she used a limited palette, but the addition of acrylics to her wheelhouse has allowed her to cajole, charm and explode her palette, whether working in watercolor or acrylic. Her paintings reside in private and public collections, and have been juried into national and local shows where she has received prizes. Honestly believing "art" is a verb, her mission in life is to encourage the creativity in everyone and to pass on kindness in her "Kindness Matters" program.
