This will be a series of birds commonly found in Florida with the shape of the state behind them. The interior of the state will be based upon common habitats in these birds can be found. Pelicans are often found flying over Florida beaches, and this painting is based on the colors often found on the West coast of the State.
With a love of life, animals, and all things natural, this self-taught artist expresses life in paintings that seem to fall off her brush. When she started painting n watercolors, she used a limited palette, but the addition of acrylics to her wheelhouse has allowed her to cajole, charm and explode her palette, whether working in watercolor or acrylic. Her paintings reside in private and public collections, and have been juried into national and local shows where she has received prizes. Honestly believing "art" is a verb, her mission in life is to encourage the creativity in everyone and to pass on kindness in her "Kindness Matters" program.
