Artist's Description

Painted with acrylics on a collage background, I am marrying the concept of fixing our broken objects with beauty The Japanese art of Kintsugi), I am contemplating the aging process,my love of nature, and the breaks and cracks that are the resul of travels. How we are all pieced together, with what came before into the person we are today.

About Diane Wallace

Diane Wallace

With a love of life, animals, and all things natural, this self-taught artist expresses life in paintings that seem to fall off her brush. When she started painting n watercolors, she used a limited palette, but the addition of acrylics to her wheelhouse has allowed her to cajole, charm and explode her palette, whether working in watercolor or acrylic. Her paintings reside in private and public collections, and have been juried into national and local shows where she has received prizes. Honestly believing "art" is a verb, her mission in life is to encourage the creativity in everyone and to pass on kindness in her "Kindness Matters" program.
