Some believe that cardinals, due to their bright red color, are symbols of visitors of those past. In my personal experience, I have to admit that it has happened on several occasions. Paintings using a reference photo generously provided by Rodney Campbell, this watercolor painting found it's forever wall quickly after I posted it. Perhaps a symbol of a departed loved one for someone who was in need.
With a love of life, animals, and all things natural, this self-taught artist expresses life in paintings that seem to fall off her brush. When she started painting n watercolors, she used a limited palette, but the addition of acrylics to her wheelhouse has allowed her to cajole, charm and explode her palette, whether working in watercolor or acrylic. Her paintings reside in private and public collections, and have been juried into national and local shows where she has received prizes. Honestly believing "art" is a verb, her mission in life is to encourage the creativity in everyone and to pass on kindness in her "Kindness Matters" program.
