It’s inside us all…..do you feel it? Sometimes it takes the shape of a cat. Sometimes it requires some excavating, especially when looking inside ourselves. But it’s a worthwhile endeavor to look for love everywhere. May this cat soul remind you to look inside everyone for the love..
Starting with intuitive collage, I then look for the message the painting sends me. In this piece, I used, watersoluable Stabilo woody crayons and acrylic paint with some gesso.
With a love of life, animals, and all things natural, this self-taught artist expresses life in paintings that seem to fall off her brush. When she started painting n watercolors, she used a limited palette, but the addition of acrylics to her wheelhouse has allowed her to cajole, charm and explode her palette, whether working in watercolor or acrylic. Her paintings reside in private and public collections, and have been juried into national and local shows where she has received prizes. Honestly believing "art" is a verb, her mission in life is to encourage the creativity in everyone and to pass on kindness in her "Kindness Matters" program.
